WALK OF SHAME

so i was going to start out by quickly explaining the walk of shame but i then realized wikipeda did it in much more detail then i would have and its quite humorous:

WALK OF SHAME: usually refers to a phenomenon in which a person must walk past strangers or peers alone for an embarrassing reason before reaching a place of privacy. Most commonly, it occurs the morning after a night out at a bar, Dance club, or party. People undertaking the walk of shame are understood to have spent the night at the house, apartment, or dorm of a sexual partner (or perceived sexual partner), particularly a "One night stand." Due to this, he or she can be recognized by the fact that he or she is still wearing the clothes that he or she wore the night before, has disheveled "bed head" hair or "sex hair." He or she may also smell like cigarettes and/or alcohol, and may suffer from a hangover due to excessive alcohol or drug intake from the previous night. A woman might have smudged makeup on her face. Particularly embarrassing is the post-Halloween Walk of Shame where people head home still wearing their costumes from the night before.

hahaha i especially love the last line. Its so true, that really is the funnest time to ever do the walk of shame. Anyways the reason i brought up the "walk of shame" is because i personally feel like the walk of shame is completley different for girls and guys. I think girls find it a lot more embarassing then guys do. One reason is probably because its a lot more obvious when a girl is doing the walk of shame. I mean there is no way to justify a mini skirt before noon. However for guys even if you wore a dress shirt, its not that unheard of to wear a dress shirt in the morning.

The second reason is that girls usually feel a lot more guilty with themselves for having a one night stand than guys. All i know is that when i go to pick up a friend who is just starting his walk of shame, it takes about 2 seconds before he breaks into an ear to ear smile. Heres the how scene usually goes:

8:30 AM - RING!!! RING!!!

GUY WHO DIDN'T GET LAID: "Why are you calling me right now"

GUY WHO GOT LAID: "Dude you have to come pick me up"

GUY WHO DIDN'T GET LAID: "Are you serious, where are you and where did you dissapear to last night?"

GUY WHO GOT LAID: little giggle "Ill explain everything when you get here, im leaving the Puffton village now come get me"

8:42 AM- you pull up along side your friend

GUY WHO DIDN'T GET LAID: "What the hell did you do last night?"

GUY WHO GOT LAID: Now has a smile from ear to ear says " i didn' do anything"

The conversaton then continues on with the kid slowly but surely explaining how doing nothing actually translates into a full fledge porno....Now perhaps one of the female followers of this page could give the play by play of how the conversation/scene goes from their end. The point im trying to make is that their really is no walk of shame for a guy, its more of a walk of pride. In fact i think this is pretty much how every guy really feels like walking after their one night stand:

Pretty munch the only way a guy really does a walk of shame is if it is a girl he has already been with and vowed to himself he wouldn't go back. I guess it all comes back to the classic argument of why is it that if a guy hooks up with a ton of girls he is a pimp, but if a girl hooks up with a ton of guys she is a slut.
