A few of my friends are studying/taking the CPA exams. God bless them for it too becuase you have to study for over a month, and although I am an elite procrastinator who can still pull great grades, I dont' think I could wait till the last week or so and pull off one of these tests. It reminds me of how, despite how much I hated them, fair a vocab test was. Either you did well or failed. Because it wasn't like these CPA exams where my friends study for days upon days wondering whether they are ready or if they need to study more. With vocab tests, you knew the deal. There were 20 words and either you knew those 20 words front and back or you didn't. This way you knew that if you memorized all 20 words you were done studying, whether that took you 30 minutes or 3 hours varied but it was fair. Granted there was some range in difficulty as to whether you got the definitions and filled in the words and vice versa. Then your teacher could be a real prick and say that words could be used twice and all that tricky shit but still you get my point. You went in there and you banged the test out in 20 minutes or you sat there staring at a vocab test that might as well be in German because you have not a fucking clue what any of them mean. It was black and white, cut and dry, plain and simple....all im saying is that things in life should be like a vocab test, if you prepare yourself and are ready for the challenge you should pass and succeed, however if you don't then you better be a great cheater or a hell of a guesser or your gonna fail.
