FINALS...(continued)

#2 on our list of "5 types of students you see at finals" the I TRY HARD TO BE A SUPER NERD. Now he or she is similar to #1 of the "NATURAL" SUPER NERD, however this person, unlike the natural, tries way to hard too be a nerd. These people are extremely smart but things don't come as naturally to them so they spend countless hours studying. They begin preparing for finals a minimum of 3 weeks before the word finals is even mentioned. Like the "NATURAL" you can also find this person at the front of the class, along with every office hour the teacher has. This person probably approached the professor the first day of class to say "Hi my name is _____, and I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you how excited I am for this upcoming semester." They will take this a step further and offer their services to type up class notes. This person will complain to the teacher about an A-.

THE POSITIVES: almost none...however if they do go on to type the class notes they will be terrific and it will help other people when finals come aroud

THE NEGATIVES: Nobody likes this person. Unlike the "NATURAL" SUPER NERD, the I TRY HARD TO BE A SUPER NERD wants everyone to know how smart they are. Their favorite question is "what did you get on your test?" but they don't really care what your answer is, their just drooling at the mouth for you to ask back so they can tell you they got an A. Their hand will be almost permanently raised throughout the class. If you and your friend are sharing a nice "wow this class blows" chat, the "I TRY HARD" will ask you to be quite. This person is also a scale destroyer. When it comes to cheating you have to be very careful. Unlike with the NATURAL, this person will call you out for not only copying off their test, but they will bring it up to the teacher if they see any cheating going on at all in the class.

OVERALL EVALUATION OF THE I TRY HARD TO BE A SUPER NERD: They bring all of their hatred on themselves. These people get off to academic success. These people will throw you under any bus to get to where they want to be and when it comes to cheating, not only will they stop you from cheating off them, but will also report any cheating they see going on throughought the class.

#3 THE JOCK

Enough with the nerds, on to the opposite of a nerd...a jock. If you don't know what a jock is then you clearly are not one and you also need to go rent the movie The Breakfast Club right now. Anywho im not referring to jocks such as Reggie Bush, Tim Tebow, Greg Scott, or someone who is on espn everyday for being a freak athlete. Im talking about the ones who actually have to take finals but are the big sports guys on campus. These are probably the easiest to identify of the group since they are always and i mean ALWAYS wearing some form of their sports team clothing. Whether it be sweatpants, team shoes, hoodie, lanyard or the all of the above. They are usually late for class and usually get extentions on every assignment. As a result of always being late they have no real designated spot in the class as they take whatever seat is open.

Believe it or not, the jocks usually want to do well in class. Their not looking for A's but they don't want to be flirting with academic probation. Although the jocks are usually not smart and take less notes then a kid with no arms, they tend to do well. Why you ask? well because the jock is cool, so people like them. Guys want to be his friend and girls want to fuck him. This means that if anyone gets any info on whats gonna be on the test or already has the answers...somebody is gonna let the jock know. Even better for the jock is a group project final. Since the jock usually is friends with all the girls he is all set. When another guy in class says "hey man you wanna be in my group"...he says "sorry bro I am already with Kelsey, Adar, and Alyssa." As I said before though he will not blow off the group, he will just arrive late and the girls will give him the title page as his assignment. His job is to sit there and make the girls laugh while they do the work....

OVERALL EVALUATION: If the jocks a cool person, everyone likes him including the teacher. They always not only pass a class but tend to do fairly well. The jock returns the favor of your hard work by waiving to you when their with the rest of their teammates.
