HELEN KELLER''S HOUSE

DEAR A;SLDKJFKASLD,

Lausier just came up with a genius idea: find out where the birth place of Helen Keller is and go there!!!! hold on as I search.....found it and here was the conversation that followed:

me: "its in tuscumbia Alabama, looks like its sort of on the way from Colorado to New Orleans'

Lausier " not really, but it is now"

so i think its safe to say that its a fact we will be stopping there. And you can put the house on it that i am dropping atleast a hundo at the gift shop. At this point your probably wondering what our obsession with Helen Keller is and if you don't know who Helen keller is you should probably either google her or just stop coming to this site. Im not really sure when it started for me, perhaps the first time I saw Miracle Worker or maybe its the first time i heard a Helen Keller joke but either way i was hooked. I fell in love instantly. I mean this woman was blind and deaf. FUCKING BLIND AND DEAF!!!! Then somehow she learns to read and write, are you shitting me?!?!? I tried to learn spanish and after 4 years of taking it I couldn't communicate with a 1st grader. On top of that not only is this girl not suicidal, which is beyond me cause i can see and hear and find myself saying "fuck my life" about 15 times a day, but she goes on to write a book called optimism. OPTIMISM!!!!

op·ti·mism
n.
1. A tendency to expect the best possible outcome

how is that possible that a women born blind and deaf can have a tendency to expect the best possible outcome cause to be honest as far as her birth I would say it was the worst possible outcome. But not Helen, nope she doesn't let that get her down and thats why I love her. I shit you not when peope ask the age old question "if you could have dinner with one person living or dead, i immediatly respond Helen Keller. Its a no brainer. That would be the most enlightening/hysterical dinner of all time. Now your probably thinking "if you like her so much why do you make fun of her?" Well the way i see it, I make fun of my friends and family all the time so whats wrong with making fun of my hero. For example i have always had this idea for a poster which i recently copyrighted so don't try to go stealing it or ill sue your ass. Anywho the poster would be of helen keller in her worst moment, like struggling to read or something and it would say "Life could be worse". That way whenever your depressed because you had a bad day or something, you can look up at the poster and think "yea i guess life could be worse, i could be blind and deaf"

Anywho that explains the title and our obsession with Americas greatest woman
